Bathing Suit Bottoms in 20 mins

Here i started by grabbing a pair of her undies to use as guide.
folded the fabrics and the underwear in half
I tried to make the bottom of the undies as flat as i could. outlined the undies on the fabric adding half an inch all around.

I did this folding the undies in the front half then repeating with the back half (the back is a bit bigger than the front part)

I put right side with right side and sewed together on the bottom end of the two pieces↖

Now I sewed the sides by putting the  wrong sides together sewing on both sides

Cut the excess fabric

Sewed again right sides together this time
Makes a nice inside (this fabric does not need to do this ,nor need serge but i like how it looks)

Fold towards the inside 1/4" and Zig Zag around Both legs

If you dont want a skirt and decide to just keep the undie as it is the fold at top 1/4" and sew all around the top.

As i wanted a skirt i put the undie on top of the fabric which was folded in 2 and cute a a rectangular slightly bigger than the width of the undie and about 5 inches on lenght. to determine how long i wanted my skirt i wanted the undie to show so i just cut it a bit shorter than the bottom of the undie.

Sew together the sides of the skirt , making it a tube . then fold 1/4" and zig zag around the bottom.

I folded 4 parts on the front of the skirt and pinned it to the undie and Zig Zaged around the entire top of the undie/ skirt

Any questions please leave a comment i will do my best to answer. Thank you
