Wanting to Learn How To Embroider ? Here Are A few Tips That May Help you Get the Confidence To Get Started

  1. Breath- everyone had to start from day one ( We were not born knowing how to embroider)
  2. All you really need to start is a needle, floss, fabric and a hoop to stabilize your fabric ( if you only have about $3 in your wallet ...man your lucky cause that is all you need to get these items)
  3. When choosing your fabric, if its your first few projects get something old you may have around the house to start learning your stitches, an old shirt for example. if you don't want to ruin anything buy a sheet of felt. Felt can be found in many places and may cost about .35 cents.
  4. Begin working with about 12" of floss to avoid getting tangled (We have all gotten tangled before)
  5. Practice a few rows of each stitch you are learning. (Practice Leads to Perfection)
  6. Do Not Freak Out!!!! if it does not look perfect. Its OK , That is the beauty of hand made , it does not have to be perfect to be beautiful. Rest assured No One else in the world will have an exact match of your beautiful creations
